About Me
Hi, my name is Dariana, I'm a sophomore and I am sixteen years old. I was born in Compostela Nayarit, Mexico a beautiful town that is an hour away from the beach. I have three brothers Carlos, Pedro and Ricardo and my amazing parents Consuelo and Antonio, I love my family they are very supportive. I have big dreams for my the future, one of them is graduating in white, but the most important one, becoming a Mechanical or Chemical Engineer. I consider my self as a dedicated student that wants to learn new aspects of life every day, weather is technology or a definition of a word. Coming to the United States was a big challenge for me because I didn't know the language and it was hard to communicate with many people around me, but I had amazing teachers and friends that have helped me throughout these past year to become a better person in all aspects. Taking AP World History has been one of the smartest decisions I've made, I learned many skills and extended my vocabulary to a whole new level.
Purpose
The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate my understanding of AP Historical Thinking skills that I have learned throughout the year. Also to demonstrate how I learned to develop these skills by providing evidence.

Well there are times in life that challenges are the best to put into action those skills you never thought you had.
There is a challenge, a challenge that not only teach you history, or how to write an essay, but will give you a better understanding of the world you live in today
Will answer many of your concerns about society and put into practice your writing and reading skills
Take advantage of those challenges in life, that will mark you in every aspect.
